Nicole Keever completed her Bachelor's of Science degree in Nutrition & Dietetics as well as her dietetic internship at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Nicole had the privilege of working at a leading inpatient treatment center for women and girls with eating disorders in Phoenix, Arizona for over 6 years. While living in Arizona, Nicole completed her Master's of Science in Human Nutrition and Metabolism.
After returning to the Lancaster area, Nicole continued her specialization in nutrition therapy while working at several local hospital systems. Throughout this time, Nicole began to build Mid Atlantic Nutrition Specialists with the dream of making the practice her primary position. The practice has continued to grow and she was delighted to welcome Danielle, Jackie, Morgan, and Shannon to the team to support the need in the community.
Nicole has also enjoyed the opportunity to write for various blogs, newsletters, and publications. You may have also caught a glimpse of her on Fox 43 News. She has appeared in several segments to discuss a variety of nutrition topics ranging from school lunch options to eating disorder awareness. Her other professional experiences include providing mentorship and supervision to dietitians gaining experience in the Intuitive Eating and Eating Disorder Recovery specialties, occasionally serving as a mentor to students in their dietetic internships, serving as both Past Chair and Past Assistant Chair on the board of the PAC for the PA Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and speaking in the community as an expert on both nutrition and Intuitive Eating.
The message Nicole hopes to instill in all of the individuals she has the opportunity to work with is simple: your body is brilliant and completely aware of your needs. Your job is to learn to listen. Nicole is honored to serve as a translator for her clients as they begin to hear the voice of their bodies.
